Soda Bar

Soda Bar is at 7 rue de la Martinière in the 1st arrondissement. Retro decor, soul and R&B music, carefully chosen spirits, house cocktails and a terrace in summer. No reservations, so everyone ends up in the same space, standing or at the bar. Regulars know each other, new faces fit in quickly. It is the kind of place where nights take a direction you did not see coming.

I was just looking for somewhere to end the evening. There was no more room at the bar, so we squeezed in. The person next to me had ordered the same cocktail. We laughed, we talked. It is the kind of place where the space does the work for you.
