La Pente

La Pente is a neighbourhood bar built around its stage. Cosy, vintage decor, a programme that runs from concerts to DJ sets, cabaret and exhibitions depending on the night, and a genuine care for making everyone feel in the right place, women and gender minorities included. You come to unwind after work, you cross paths with people, and you end the evening on a live set you didn't plan for. Meeting people is more or less in the DNA of the place.

I came for one drink and stayed for a band I'd never heard of.

I stopped in alone after work. A concert started up on the stage in the middle of the room and I ended up standing next to someone who knew the band. We talked between songs, then kept talking after. I still don't know how the evening got away from me.
