L'Orée 85

L'Orée 85 sits by the water with a large terrace, an organic veggie canteen, and a programme that mixes concerts and DJ sets with participatory workshops, repair café, gardening, fermented cooking, electronics tinkering, and writing. For meeting people, it's easy: you can come to fix your toaster on a Saturday afternoon, end up having a drink on the terrace with the person who walked you through the circuit, and stay for the evening DJ set. Everything is set up so people mix, which is far easier to do when you arrive alone than in an ordinary bar.
