At happn, every conversation is based on a simple, essential principle: mutual respect. And that respect always starts with consent.

## What is consent?

Consent is a voluntary, enthusiastic, freely expressed “yes”. It is an unambiguous agreement, made without pressure or insistence. This is the foundation of all healthy interactions, whether in a message, on a date, or concerning physical touch.

- “No” always means no.

## Setting limits (and recognizing the limits of others)
